Welcome to 2022!
Today has finally arrived and we warmly welcomed students in Years 1-6 back to school. It was great to see so many of our students return to school. Whilst we know there are some challenges that lie ahead it is great that the students are in the classroom learning with their peers.
Today has also seen the beginning of the Best Start Assessments for our Kindergarten students. This is the beginning of their formal schooling and journey, and we can’t wait to see them on Friday. We wish all our new students the very best as the join our school community.
Staffing Update
This year we welcome several new staff to our community. Mrs Katie Gardener will be job sharing with Mrs Amy Ford. Mrs Gardener is an experienced teacher from the local area who is very excited to be joining our team. Miss Bridget Maitland joined our school in Term 4 last year and will be with us all year, which is great. We also warmly welcome Miss Amelia Richards to our teaching staff.
In the office we have a Business Manager with us two days per week. Mrs Melanie McShane joins us and is very familiar with the role of Business Manager as she is also part time at a high school in the same role.
We warmly welcome all new families, students and staff to our school.

Below are instructions to ensure you are receiving all correspondence in reference to your child/ren.
Step 1. Install SZapp on your mobile device.
Step 2. Select Asia Pacific region, then search for and select Pennant Hills Public School.
Step 3. You will be prompted to register as a user. Enter your email and name, then create a password. Once registered you will be sent an email to confirm your email address. Open your mail program and click on the URL to confirm. Upon completion you will be shown a confirmation screen.
Step 4. With SZapp open, select the ‘Manage’ tab towards the top of the screen.

UNIFORM SHOP COMMITTEE
We are currently seeking new members for the Uniform Shop Committee. The committee meets just once a term to discuss and monitor the supply, quality and price of the school uniform. The committee members also provide assistance to new families at the Kinderlinks program. If you are interested in joining the committee please contact me on the below email address.
YEAR 6 SPORT SHIRTS
Once final student numbers have been determined and class lists have been finalised, the shirts will be delivered to the printer. At this stage, I anticipate distributing the shirts by the end week 4 or 5 to those children who have placed an order.
ORDERING UNIFORMS
Uniforms can be ordered by making an appointment at the Uniform Shop during opening hours, or alternatively an order form can be completed and together with payment of cash, cheque or card details handed in at either office. Orders will be filled and then delivered to the children’s classes. A combined pricelist and order form can normally be downloaded from the 'Uniform Shop' section on the school website. Due to technical difficulties the website is not displaying the current order forms however this will be rectified soon. I apologise for the inconvenience.
Uniforms can also be ordered online through Flexischools, however prices will include the Flexischools’ surcharge.
Please note that uniform orders cannot be paid via the school online payment service
